New Shop info....

We had a great sale on Saturday, Thanks. Next month will be our 1 st anniversary Details coming soon.

We have added a new class to the schedule. It is the rapid fire hunters star. The teacher is Diane Tocco. This will be a three week class held on October 14 th , 28 Th & November 11 th from 6-9 pm. Space is limited register early.....

We are also starting a new B.O.M. starting in November it will be a Amish quilt. Each month you will receive a block & pattern. The cost will be $ 5.00 each month. If you bring in the finished block the following month you will be entered into a drawing. This will run for 12 months. at the end of the twelve months you will have 12 blocks to use as you please...... There is no need to register for this B.O.M. They will be available the 9th of each month....

Hi,

Things at the shop are going well. Classes are filling fast with the thought of fall. We are enjoying this cooler weather and hope you are to. Judy is off to school in Kentucky..........We miss her already.....Jeanette will be student teaching close to home.... Singer my cat takes his name to heart, he thinks he is suppose to eat thread....Maybe we should have given him a different name !!!

We have received in 4 of the batiks, the rest are coming sooooooon. We have also ordered the Cosmo Seasons threads; they will be arriving in late October, but we will have some of the more requested colors in shop soon. I am currently working on a sample. We also just ordered the newest pattern from Crabapple Hill, it is adorable: Aunt Lucy's Button box, there are three 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 designs. They would be perfect to frame in a sewing room, that's my plan. We also received the sit-on hoops for crazy quilt embroidery. I love that class this month we learned a rosebud, a rose, and a carnation. I am adding these to the village quilt I am working on.

On my way to the Quilt shop there is a sign that is updated regularly. It is amazing how you can relate it to your life.....this time it says "Out of difficulties grow miracles" .........

Things here at the quilt shop are going great. The newsletter will come out next Thursday.

This is a new sample now in our shop, made by Diane Muir. Diane is our Crazy Quilt Embroidery teacher. I am currently taking her class and we are learning lots of fun stitches.......

We just placed an order for our first Batiks line. They will be arriving in August, we will let you know when they arrive.....

The winter sample for the Seasonal Celebrations Block of the Month is not done and in store. There are still some kits available. It is a 12 month BOM that costs $25.00 per month. At the end of the 12 months you will have 4 completed wall hangings (Backing and Binding included), 1 for each season. My snowman still need eye's.

We have also received the 1,2,3, Down by the Sea.... Samples are in store now..... One is a hop scotch game quilt, and the other is a wall hanging or child's quilt that you can personalize for a girl or boy. Kits are ready !!!!!

We just received the Halloween Fabrics (Happy Haunters) in...they are so cute. We have samples done in shop for three fun projects. Stop by we would love to see you.......

July special

I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday as much as I did. We had McKenna, she loves visiting. We had alot of fun in the pool. Pa Pa even purchased a swing set for the kids they loved it. I even got some sewing done on Monday. Samples coming soon....... We are going to have a month long special for the month of July if you say the key word ( Swing) All christmas fabric will be 15 % off. I hope that this helps you to get ahead for the christmas season........ Remember the sale on saturday........

We have had a busy week of ordering. We ordered lots of good stuff. The patterns and books have already started arriving. I will post pictures as the fabrics come in. Don't forget the make-up for Crazy Quilt Embroidery is Saturday class 1 &2 10-12, class 3 &4 12-2.

Our First Stitch

Hello Fellow Quilters,

Tomorrows Treasures Quilting- This is a quilt shop located at 35228 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore, Michigan. Our shop number is (586) 716-1334. We opened October of last year (2009). We are a verrry energetic shop with lots of happenings. We have a 1300sq ft space with the goal of expanding as soon as we can. We try to utilize every bit of space in the shop that we can. We love moving things around and making new displays; as we create them we will post pictures to share with you.

We thought that a blog would be nice way to keep in better contact with our many quilters. We hope that this will help everyone to keep up with our shop happening's/activities. We would like to blog instead of our monthly newsletter, we feel that this will keep our customers more current than a 3 week old newsletter. We are very excited that we will be able to show you works in progress, new fabrics in the shop, etc. We hope you like it.
