Hi,

Things at the shop are going well. Classes are filling fast with the thought of fall. We are enjoying this cooler weather and hope you are to. Judy is off to school in Kentucky..........We miss her already.....Jeanette will be student teaching close to home.... Singer my cat takes his name to heart, he thinks he is suppose to eat thread....Maybe we should have given him a different name !!!

We have received in 4 of the batiks, the rest are coming sooooooon. We have also ordered the Cosmo Seasons threads; they will be arriving in late October, but we will have some of the more requested colors in shop soon. I am currently working on a sample. We also just ordered the newest pattern from Crabapple Hill, it is adorable: Aunt Lucy's Button box, there are three 7 1/2 x 10 1/2 designs. They would be perfect to frame in a sewing room, that's my plan. We also received the sit-on hoops for crazy quilt embroidery. I love that class this month we learned a rosebud, a rose, and a carnation. I am adding these to the village quilt I am working on.
